<p>Facebook is announcing its IPO soon to raise <strong>billions</strong> of dollars from the public. This exercise will probably make it a <strong>100-billion-dollar</strong> company in terms of value when all is said and done.</p>
<p>It&#8217;ll be the <strong>biggest</strong> IPO in tech history.</p>
<p>Think about that.</p>
<p>With over <strong>850 million users</strong> currently, it&#8217;ll get its <strong>1 BILLIONTH</strong> user sometime this year (2012).  Facebook knows this for a fact, and is probably timing its IPO to coincide with this 1 billionth user announcement…</p>

<p>It simply means that if you say you&#8217;re great (in whatever way important to you), the person you&#8217;re talking to isn&#8217;t likely to believe it to the extent that you yourself do.</p>
<p>However, if <strong>SOMETHING</strong> or <strong>SOMEONE ELSE</strong> says you&#8217;re great (this is called an &#8220;endorsement&#8221;), then your Prospects&#8217; perception of your ability increases significantly, and your chances of achieving your objectives will skyrocket to heights you would never dream of.</p>
<p>The endorsement by a 3rd party can be expressed, or implied. When it&#8217;s expressed, you&#8217;re being praised directly.</p>
<p>As an example, assuming John Smith is a great electric guitar player, then an expressed endorsement looks like the following:</p>
<p style="padding-left: 30px;"><strong>&#8220;John Smith is one of the best electric guitar players the world has <em>never</em> known.&#8221;</strong></p>
<p>The power of this endorsement for John depends on <strong>WHO</strong> is making that endorsement of John&#8217;s talents.</p>
<p>If the Endorser (the person making the endorsement) is another electric guitar player, his endorsement will be more powerful than if it&#8217;s from someone who has <strong><em>never</em></strong> played a guitar properly in his life (like me).</p>
<p>However, that guitar player&#8217;s endorsement is less powerful than if <strong>Slash</strong> himself is endorsing John.</p>
<p>(Slash is considered the greatest living electric guitar player in 2009 by <strong>TIME</strong> magazine).</p>

<p><strong> </strong><a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/virtual_team2.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-339" title="virtual_team2" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/virtual_team2-300x233.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="233" /></a><br />
I don&#8217;t do work on my own, unless I really have to. And I&#8217;m finding more and more things that I don&#8217;t have to do on my own, things I&#8217;ve been doing all along thinking that nobody else can do them. Well, most of the things I&#8217;ve been doing can be done by other people &#8211; and in most cases, better than I can.</p>
<p>So I&#8217;ll get other people to do the work for me under the following circumstances:</p>
<p><strong>1) I don&#8217;t know how to do the work</strong><br />
This is an easy decision to make. As an example, I can&#8217;t draw to save my life, so I won&#8217;t, if drawing is necessary part of my business (it isn&#8217;t).</p>
<p><strong>2) I know how to do it, but I&#8217;m not good at it</strong><br />
Again, this is an easy decision to make.  I want to provide the best service I can, so anything less won&#8217;t do, because you have to be fair to your Client.</p>
<p><strong>3) I know how to do it, but I don&#8217;t want to do it</strong><br />
This is self-explanatory.</p>
<p><strong>4) I know how to do it, I want to do it, but I have something else that I need to do that I equally want to do</strong><br />
A simple way to decide is to see which type of work actually earns you the most money. You&#8217;re doing a business, after all. So do the work that brings you the most money, and let someone else do the rest, even if you&#8217;re good in them.</p>
<p><strong>3. I Leverage On The World Population</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong><a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/worldpopulation.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-458" title="worldpopulation" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/worldpopulation.jpg" alt="" width="567" height="376" /></a> I find workers from all over the world, not just where I am. Because I have a choice, I can get the <strong>BEST</strong> workers, at the <strong>BEST</strong> price.</p>
<p>You see, there are 7 billion people on this planet. I only need <strong><em>a fraction of a fraction</em></strong> of that number to work with me. It&#8217;s easy to find them, because the supply is huge. Especially now, where many countries are in a recession, with a high number being unemployed.</p>
<p><strong>4. I Leverage On The Internet</strong></p>
<p><strong> </strong><a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/internet.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-469" title="internet" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/internet.jpg" alt="" width="400" height="393" /></a> The Internet enables me and my workers to work from anywhere &#8211; so I save on not having to rent office premises for my business. Communication between my clients, workers and suppliers and I can also be done via the Internet using email, Facebook, Twitter, Skype, etc.</p>
<p>They&#8217;re all <strong>FREE</strong> to use, and all I need is just an Internet connection and a gadget to connect to the Internet (which isn&#8217;t necessarily a PC nowadays &#8211; as I can do this on my smartphone.)</p>
<p><strong>5. I Leverage On The Currency Exchange</strong></p>
<p><strong></strong><a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/currency-exchange.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-460" title="200452489-001" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/currency-exchange.jpg" alt="" width="507" height="337" /></a> I hire workers from countries where a smaller amount of my currency translates into a an amount in their currency that they&#8217;re very comfortable with. They work from home, without ever having to spend money commuting to and from work.</p>
<p>It&#8217;s a win for me, and a win for them &#8211; and ultimately, a win for my Client who does not have to pay through his nose to get my services.</p>
<p><strong>6. I Leverage On Platforms</strong></p>

<p>Social Media platforms have hundreds of millions of people as users. Facebook alone is nearing 700 million users this month or the next.</p>
<p>Since so many people are on those platforms, my prospects are there &#8211; and I go where they are at. By doing so, I&#8217;m saving a lot of time, effort and money in not having to look for my prospects in other places.</p>
<p><strong>7. I Leverage On Machines</strong></p>

Machines like computers with the right software provide lots of leverage. They can do receptive mundane tasks that humans can&#8217;t do very well, or don&#8217;t want to do. Computers can work <strong>24 hours a day, 7 days a week</strong>. They&#8217;re also very quick and efficient and follow your every instruction.</p>
<p><strong>8. I Leverage On Work Processes</strong></p>

<p>Once I&#8217;ve set up a clear work process for my business, everybody knows what to do and follows it to the letter. Training must be provided if necessary, where the process may be a bit more complicated, but once everybody&#8217;s on the same page, the business becomes very efficient and there is minimal wastage.</p>
<p><strong>9. I Leverage On Languages</strong></p>
<p><strong></strong><a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/languages.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-464" title="languages" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/languages.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="300" /></a> My Clients can come from all over the world &#8211; and because of that, I&#8217;ll need to offer my services in <strong>multiple languages</strong> since English isn&#8217;t the only language they speak.</p>
<p>And I can offer multiple languages because my workers themselves come from all over the world.</p>
<p>When I can offer multiple languages, I can triple, quadruple or quintuple the number of Clients I can have &#8211; and my earnings will also multiply manifold!</p>
<p><strong>10. I Leverage On Collective Wisdom</strong></p>

As you&#8217;re waiting for your medication after your doctor has seen you, he could be picking up the phone to call his fellow professionals on that unusual orange fungal infection you have on your elbow that stumped him totally (but you didn&#8217;t know it). In just a few minutes, and provided he called the right person, he&#8217;s got his answer &#8211; and you&#8217;re none the wiser.</p>
<p>My Social Media Marketing Business Licensees all do the business knowing they have the experience of other Social Media Professionals who could help them out. 			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Let me tell you a story. Listen carefully, because it can literally change your entire life for the better.</p>
<p><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-439" title="senze-lawyer" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/senze-lawyer.jpg" alt="" width="152" height="215" />I got my law degree, passed the English Bar exams in the UK way back in 1990 and got called to the English Bar which earned me the title of &#8220;barrister-at-law&#8221;.</p>
<p>And so I returned to Malaysia (which is where I live) to do a 9-month training session (called a &#8220;pupillage&#8221;) under an experienced lawyer (the &#8220;Master&#8221;) who would guide me on the issues of practicing as a lawyer and in handling real clients, by dealing with real cases.</p>
<p>Once all the formalities and procedures had been complied with, it was time to be called to the Malaysian Bar &#8211; a requirement before I could practice as a lawyer here.</p>
<p>I completed my pupillage at the end of 1991, and got called to the Malaysian Bar in early 1992.</p>
<p>Success! The 5 long years of hard work and money (Dad&#8217;s money, that is) I spent pursuing this qualification was over.</p>
<p>It was time to rake in the money <strong>BIG</strong> time, as a hot-shot lawyer.</p>
<p>Or so I thought.</p>
<p>Now back then (and even now), most lawyers&#8217; idea of getting rich was to work for a few years in a law firm on their way to becoming a partner in that firm. If we were good enough, the partnership offer would surely come.</p>
<p>The only question was <strong>WHEN</strong>.</p>
<p>So the big money wasn&#8217;t in working as a Legal Assistant (LA) for a law firm.</p>
<p>The big money was in being a partner in an <strong>ALREADY-SUCCESSFUL</strong> law firm, where LAs would work with us.</p>
<p>After all, all the risks had already been taken by the current partners of the firm &#8211; so all we would be doing was to ride on the firm&#8217;s success, with the value we could provide the firm with our knowledge and skills.</p>
<p>However I couldn&#8217;t become a partner if I hadn&#8217;t practiced for a number of years <strong>TO GET</strong> the required knowledge and skills. This was an acceptable fact, and so I diligently went about discharging my duties as an LA.</p>
<p>I ended up working 16-hour days, almost 7 days a week in the firm I worked for.</p>
<p>I handled over 500 cases a year, and saw multiple clients in a single day.</p>
<p>I was fortunate that I had the assistance of a most hard-working legal secretary, plus some automation in the office I had put into place where legal documentation could be produced quickly, sometimes in just 10 minutes.</p>
<p>But it didn&#8217;t matter.</p>
<p>I was totally stressed out.</p>
<p>I was unhealthy.</p>
<p>I wasn&#8217;t happy.</p>
<p>I still couldn&#8217;t repay my Dad.</p>
<p>And partnership seemed so far away.</p>
<p>You see, the &#8220;problem&#8221; with this &#8220;partnership model&#8221; to making a lot of money is that it&#8217;s a very looooong journey.</p>
<p>It requires at least 5-6 years of practice before partnership is even a possibility.</p>
<p>But we do it because there&#8217;s simply no other alternative other than starting our own firm.</p>
<p>Starting our own firm would involve taking our own risks, as we would be starting from scratch &#8211; so the better alternative was to ride on the success of the firm we were already working for and <strong>HOPE</strong> to become a partner eventually.</p>
<p>But I had a 3rd alternative.</p>
<p>And that was to quit the legal profession altogether.</p>
<p>Which I did.</p>
<p>Much to Dad&#8217;s horror.</p>
<p>And Mom&#8217;s horror.</p>
<p>And everybody&#8217;s horror, except my own.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve had enough &#8211; and I wanted to try something else.</p>
<p>And that something else was the Internet.</p>
<p>Way back in 1995 my university mate in the UK started a company selling business information over the Internet, right in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.</p>
<p>He was one of the first to take advantage of the Internet then, with a business model that appeared good at that time. It was eventually discovered to be flawed, but that would be some 2 years later.</p>
<p>My Internet and Internet Marketing education started then &#8211; and the potential for making a ton of money using the Internet completely blew my mind.</p>
<p>I move on after about 2 years, and then started my own businesses. I knew the Internet would be part of what I wanted to do &#8211; and so I tested and played around with many different Internet Business Models.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve had successes with many of them, some of which I&#8217;m still using today.</p>
<p>But none of them even come close to the business I&#8217;m doing currently.</p>
<p>Why?</p>
<p>It has to do with some of the lessons I&#8217;ve picked up along my journey to making money via the Internet, or with the Internet as the basis for my business.</p>
<p>Here&#8217;s what you need to know.</p>
<p>To make money &#8211; <strong>A LOT OF IT</strong> &#8211; requires you to have a good grasp of just a few simple concepts:</p>
<p><strong>1. Figure out what your customers want to have that nobody or very few people are providing to them</strong><br />
This can be easy or difficult to do. So take the easy path. Providing Social Media marketing services is it!</p>
<p><strong>2. Become the FIRST to give your customers what they want to have</strong><br />
When you&#8217;re the first, or one of the first, you&#8217;ll make the most money. This is only logical, because you have no competition. There are very few people doing this, not just here in Malaysia, but around the world as well &#8211; so you&#8217;re really one of the first people in the world providing this service to the entire world!</p>
<p><strong>3. Become the FIRST to do something, AT THE RIGHT TIME</strong><br />
This is called &#8220;Timing&#8221;. If you&#8217;re way ahead of your time, you&#8217;re a genius, but you won&#8217;t make the money. If you&#8217;re too late, others who have come before you have already made most of the money. You need to <strong>TIME</strong> your entry properly so that you&#8217;re neither too early, nor too late.  And <strong>NOW</strong> is the perfect time!</p>
<p><strong>4. If you&#8217;re not the first, RIDE on the first by PARTNERING with them</strong><br />
All the risks have been taken away from you &#8211; you simply ride on <strong>MY SUCCESS</strong> in doing this business for my Clients. You just need to do your part. And you don&#8217;t have to wait years to get your chance, because it&#8217;s available to you <strong>NOW</strong>.</p>

<p>Trust is the foundation of all business transactions. You would never willingly hand your money over to someone you don&#8217;t trust. If you&#8217;re now asking someone to hand money over to you, you&#8217;ve got to build up this trust in them for you first.</p>

<p>Since trust is the foundation of all business transactions, building up trust in my Prospects&#8217; minds, especially those who have yet to know who I am, is of paramount importance.</p>
<p>And one of the best ways to easily build up trust in my case is to <strong>WRITE BOOKS</strong> on my area of expertise.</p>

<p>Printed books will not make you a lot of money <strong>DIRECTLY</strong> from their sales &#8211; unless you&#8217;re JK Rowling. You know, she wrote the &#8220;<strong>Harry Potter</strong>&#8221; series of books that made a gazillion bucks on their own, not to mention the movies based on them.</p>

<p>To start, you&#8217;ll need to write about something that your Prospects would want to read about. They can be:</p>
<p>1. Stories that entertain, motivate or touch your Prospects.<br />
2. Educational content that teaches your Prospects to do something.</p>
<p>Most books fall into either broad category &#8211; so choose one to focus on.</p>
<p>Books that fall within the first category of &#8220;Stories&#8221; include the &#8220;<strong>Chicken Soup For The Soul</strong>&#8221; series of books. Real-life stories from real people motivate, inspire and touch readers on an emotional level that enable them to &#8220;connect&#8221; with the content in many ways.</p>
<p>Books that fall within the second category include &#8220;<strong><a href="http://senze.com/mini-e">Sen </a><span style="color: #ff0000;"><a href="http://senze.com/mini-e">Z</a></span><a href="http://senze.com/mini-e">e&#8217;s Mini-Encyclopedia Of Low-Cost, High-Profit Internet Business Models</a></strong>&#8221; which showcases the multiple ways money is made online.</p>
<p>Writing books can be as easy or as hard as you make it. There are many techniques you can use &#8211; and depending on how I feel, I&#8217;ll use the right one at different times.</p>
<p>The quickest book took me only 7 days to write. The longest book took me 4 or 5 years.</p>
<p>Yet another book was written even before I knew it!</p>
<p>However, there is <strong>NO</strong> link between profits and how much time you spent writing a book.</p>
<p>So try to write a book as quickly as you can, but take care to ensure that your readers (Prospects) would find it very useful.</p>
<p>My latest book is on Social Media. Specifically, how to market your products or services using Social Media like Facebook, Twitter, YouTube and Blogs &#8211; for <strong>FREE</strong>.</p>
<p>This book took me some months to write, mainly due to the various commitments I had during these past few months. But it&#8217;s finally down to just proof-reading, and it should be published by the end of May or early June.</p>
<p>Note that the most important part of a book is its <strong>Front Cover</strong>.  Its main purpose is to attract the attention of targeted readers.<a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/bookshelf3.jpg"><img class="alignright size-full wp-image-407" title="bookshelf3" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/05/bookshelf3.jpg" alt="" width="180" height="187" /></a></p>
<p>Remember, I&#8217;ll be sharing shelf space with 30-100 other books, so my book must be <strong>NOTICED</strong>.</p>
<p>This can be done using good design, colors and a catchy book Title, which then leads to the Sub-Title that provides further information on what the book contains that can help the reader:</p>
<p>If the book isn&#8217;t noticed, it won&#8217;t be bought. The book cover is the <strong>MOST</strong> important part of any book for this purpose, so you&#8217;ll need to spend a lot of time on this to get it right. Get the best book cover designer you can afford, because it&#8217;s money well spent.</p>
<p>Once the book is picked up, the reader will do one of a few things, usually in the following order:</p>
<p><strong>1. Read the Sub-Title<br />
2. Turn the book over to read the Back Cover<br />
3. Flip the pages to skim through the contents of the book<br />

<p>The <strong>Sub-Title </strong><strong>ELABORATES</strong> a little more on the Title (which is the &#8220;Attention Grabber&#8221;), so that the reader understands better on what the book contains, quickly.</p>
<p>The <strong>Back Cover</strong> is the 3rd most important part of your book, after the Sub-Title. It provides a synopsis of what is covered by the book. The reader can spend up to a minute or two reading this Back Cover.</p>

<p>If the reader&#8217;s interest is heightened further after reading the Back Cover, he&#8217;ll then flip through the book itself, to check out its contents. In doing this, he&#8217;ll be seeing the layout of the book and he&#8217;ll be noticing how big the fonts are, how nicely laid out it may be, how beautiful the images within are and so on.</p>
<p>If he still likes what he sees, he&#8217;ll pick a section of the book to actually read it. He may spend up to 15 minutes doing this, before deciding whether he&#8217;s got enough value from what he&#8217;s read to want to buy the entire book to read at home.</p>
<p>That&#8217;s it in a nutshell.</p>
<p>Your objective is of course to sell as many books as you can &#8211; but that really isn&#8217;t the end game for you.</p>
<p>Building <strong>TRUST</strong>, or <strong>CREDIBILITY</strong>, is.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>It&#8217;s a good thing to have Customers. But it&#8217;s even better to have Customers who buy from you <strong>AGAIN AND AGAIN</strong> for the rest of their lives.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-350" title="girl_with_money" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/girl_with_money.gif" alt="" width="720" height="324" /></p>
<p>Some people call it &#8220;<strong>Customer Loyalty</strong>&#8220;. Others call it &#8220;<strong>Locking In Your Profits</strong>&#8220;.</p>
<p>There are many ways to do this. Some ways give you this effect naturally, others are &#8220;forced&#8221;.</p>
<p>Let&#8217;s take a look at how some Lock Ins are achieved, which can be dependent on the nature of your business. You must of course have a product or service that your Customers can buy again and again, or other related products and services that add value to your already-acquired Customer, or else &#8220;Lock Ins&#8221; tactics aren&#8217;t an important consideration for your business to implement:</p>
<p><strong>1. Location</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Starbucks.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-360" title="Starbucks" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/Starbucks.jpg" alt="" width="278" height="337" /></a></p>
<p>A launderette nearer to your home would get more of your business than another one further away, everything else being equal. It&#8217;ll get your business for as long as you don&#8217;t wish to do your own laundry, and as long as you&#8217;re near it &#8211; which can be for YEARS on end. If you&#8217;re a coffee lover, the Starbucks outlet nearest your home would get your patronage for a long time to come.</p>
<p><strong>2. Pricing</strong></p>
<p>You can achieve the Lock In effect if your prices are lower than everybody else. This however is only true for products and services that are not significantly lower in quality than those that are more expensive &#8211; or even if they are, the lower quality is acceptable to your customers. A good example is bank in slips used by banks&#8217; customers that accompany their checks that they&#8217;re depositing. Those slips don&#8217;t have to be of the highest quality because it&#8217;s used only once and nobody really cares too much otherwise.</p>
<p><strong>3. Expertise</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/expert.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-365" title="expert" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/expert-300x223.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="223" /></a></p>
<p>You can also Lock In your customer if you&#8217;re perceived to have expertise nobody else has. As an example, you&#8217;re the top Feng Shui expert in the world. Your clients will not settle for another Feng Shui expert, even though you&#8217;re more expensive than all of them put together. Of course, you&#8217;re targeting premium Clients here who can afford your services.</p>
<p><strong>4. Technical</strong></p>
<p>Where things are technical in nature, it&#8217;s easy to achieve Lock In. Your Customers have no understanding of exactly what you do for them, and so can&#8217;t really compare you with your competitors well enough. This can be found in programming services, or business systems involving technology components.</p>
<p><strong>5. Training</strong></p>
<p>Microsoft offers Word, the word-processing program that require you to get trained on before you can use it. This will take some hours to do &#8211; but once you&#8217;ve done that, you&#8217;re unlikely to want to learn to use another word processing program. When there is a new Word version being released, it&#8217;s likely you&#8217;ll upgrade to the latest version of Word, instead of buying a different word processor.</p>
<p><strong>6. Bliss</strong></p>
<p><a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/bliss.png"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-356" title="bliss" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/bliss-300x190.png" alt="" width="300" height="190" /></a></p>
<p>If you can provide a top user experience with your product, your customers will look forward to buying your other products if you can maintain the same standard for them all. Apple focuses mainly on the user experience with its products like the iPhone where its touch screen interface was so well done and executed and so logical that everybody who has used one raves about it. This created the &#8220;halo&#8221; effect that opens up Apple&#8217;s other products to the same Customer to consider buying later on.</p>
<p><strong>7. Relationship</strong></p>
<p>You may only buy from your own family member instead of his competitor, because you really want to help him out. The closer you are, the stronger your relationship and the more money he&#8217;ll make from you &#8211; and you don&#8217;t mind this at all. &#8220;Relationship&#8221; also extends to close friends and connections.</p>
<p><strong>8. Likeability</strong></p>
<p><strong><a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/cutepuppy.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-358" title="cutepuppy" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/cutepuppy.jpg" alt="" width="320" height="320" /></a></strong></p>
<p>Given a choice, we&#8217;ll usually buy from people we like. &#8220;Likeability&#8221; is a huge Lock In factor. It can be independent of &#8220;Relationship&#8221; as you may be meeting a seller for the very first time and you&#8217;re somehow immediately comfortable with him.</p>
<p><strong>9. Contractual</strong></p>
<p>You can <strong>MAKE</strong> your customers loyal to you by getting them to agree to be loyal to you or else they&#8217;ll either lose some reward, or earn a penalty. Mobile phone operators do this all the time, by getting you to sign a contract for call and data plans for a couple of years or more, in return for a subsidy on that smartphone you&#8217;ve set your eyes on, so that you&#8217;ll be paying a lower price for it. If you breach the contract, you&#8217;ll have to pay the regular price for the phone plus some other fees (&#8220;penalty&#8221;). We usually accede to this arrangement because <strong>EVERY</strong> mobile phone operator does this and you can&#8217;t get that smartphone otherwise.</p>
<p><strong>10. Ecosystem</strong></p>
<p><strong><a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/earth.gif"><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-362" title="earth" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/earth.gif" alt="" width="303" height="308" /></a></strong></p>
<p>If the product you&#8217;re selling is part of an ecosystem, and yet can still stand on its own, you&#8217;re setting your Customers up for future purchases of the other products within that ecosystem. Apple&#8217;s iPod, iPhone, iPad, iTunes store, Mac computers, Mac App Store, Apple TV and other Apple products were designed to be an ecosystem which will give you an experience far in excess of each individual product on its own. Buying one of them can set you on the road to buying them all, provided each individual product also delights the Customer (see &#8220;Bliss&#8221; above).</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">==================</p>
<p>This isn&#8217;t an exhaustive list, of course. But hopefully I&#8217;ve set you on the road to thinking about them, as they can earn you<strong> THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS </strong>per Customer if you&#8217;re doing them properly.</p>
<p>This is how fortunes are made, online or off. Master the &#8220;Locking In The Profits&#8221; concept properly &#8211; and then use all the power at your disposal to get the <strong>FIRST PRODUCT</strong> sold using one of the methods shown.</p>
<p><strong>MY METHOD?</strong></p>
<p>I&#8217;m using the <strong>ECOSYSTEM</strong> method to help achieve my objective of locking in my profits.</p>
<p>The Ecosystem method has the disadvantage of heavy investment of time, resources and money. But this very disadvantage is also an advantage as it creates a formidable <strong>BARRIER TO ENTRY </strong>to my would-be competitors &#8211; which then makes me even more money.</p>
<p>My lead-in product/service that will lock in future profits for me, is providing Social Media Marketing services to my Clients.</p>
<p>This alone will earn me <strong>THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS PER MONTH PER CLIENT.</strong></p>
<p>But to the Client, it&#8217;s a <strong>FRACTION</strong> of what they would pay to market their products using Traditional Media like TV, Radio and Newspapers, so the value is immediately apparent.</p>
<p>My Social Media Marketing Ecosystem will have <strong>OTHER</strong> products or services that fit the Client&#8217;s objectives as well.</p>
<p>Once the Client is delighted with our current service, getting them to buy those other products and services is even easier&#8230;</p>

<p>You can make your fortune by selling products or services. Either way has its pros and cons, and it&#8217;s good that you know what they are before you start your journey.</p>
<p><strong>1.Service</strong><br />
If you&#8217;re providing a service, like if you train someone else&#8217;s dog to do certain tricks, you&#8217;re really selling your <strong>TIME</strong>.<br />

<p>So this is your first disadvantage, which is the fact that your time is <strong>LIMITED</strong> to only 24 hours a day.</p>
<p>Because this is the case, you can only provide your service to a limited number of Clients. You can&#8217;t scale up to provide your service to more Clients to make more money as it&#8217;s physically impossible to do so.</p>
<p>There are at least 2 solutions to this:</p>
<p><strong>1)  Sell your service at a higher price</strong><br />
This will reduce the number of Clients you can get, or even lose you all of them completely. However, if you can make it work, you&#8217;ve just increased your income and at the same time reduced the amount of time you need to put in to earn it.</p>
<p>For example, if you&#8217;re charging $100/hour to train other people&#8217;s dogs, and you typically train 10 dogs a week for an hour each, you&#8217;re earning <strong>$1,000 per week</strong>. So if you increased your charges to $300/hour and you only get to train 5 dogs a week for an hour each (50% reduction in no. of Clients) &#8211; you&#8217;re earning <strong>$1,500/week. </strong></p>
<p>This is $500 more than before &#8211; and you&#8217;re working only <strong><em>half</em></strong> the time.</p>
<p>This then brings us to the next point:</p>
<p><strong>How then do we increase our price for our service and still retain enough Customers to make more money with?</strong></p>
<p>The simple answer is to become a &#8220;<strong>brand</strong>&#8221; in your own right. Try to become a celebrity dog trainer &#8211; and then watch your income skyrocket through the roof as you do less and less work.</p>
<p>This branding concept is the subject of another post. Our topic is &#8220;Automated Service&#8221; &#8211; and this is what we&#8217;ll try to do, instead of doing everything on our own.</p>
<p><strong>2) Pay Others For Their Time, And Pocket The Difference<br />
</strong>You could get someone else who&#8217;s an expert in training dogs, to train your Clients&#8217; dogs for you instead. This someone could be your employee who you&#8217;ve trained up to do what you do, and so could take your place instead.</p>
<p>The downside to this approach is that your income will be less as you&#8217;ll have to pay your employee for his time &#8211; but you will also be able to take on more Clients that you can assign to your employees.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">====================</p>
<p><strong>2. Sell Products</strong><br />
The great thing about selling products is that you escape the &#8220;<strong>TIME</strong>&#8221; limitation.</p>
<p><a href="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/product.jpg"><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-325" title="product" src="http://senze.com/wp-content/uploads/2011/04/product-300x225.jpg" alt="" width="300" height="225" /></a>Products are created in quantities to be sold to as many Customers as possible. This selling can be done by anyone, not just you, without any need to &#8220;train&#8221; the seller to sell it other than to provide some technical information about it where necessary.</p>
<p>However selling products require you to invest money in <strong>inventory</strong>. If you&#8217;re selling a gadget that mops the floor automatically, you&#8217;ll need to keep it in stock as otherwise there will be massive delays in getting the product to your Customers which will result in orders being cancelled.</p>
<p>Inventory costs can set you back t<strong>ens of thousands of dollars</strong>. Compare this to providing a service where you will only provide it when required. There&#8217;s nothing for you to invest in &#8220;stock&#8221;.</p>
