The Private Label Concept – Part II
CONTENT – lots of good quality content – is an ESSENTIAL part of your Internet Business. If you can’t create your own content or don’t wish to spend the time to do it, you’d better find a source to get them cheaply or you’ll lose out.
But it’s hard work to create content for most people.
An average 600-word article can take anywhere from 15 minutes to a few hours to complete. The average person will probably take up to an hour per article as he has to do research on his topic, before writing on it, and then editing it so that it’s properly optimized for the Search Engines to know what the article is about so that they can properly list it for keyword searches that are relevant to them.
If you have the time to spare and don’t mind the effort involved, you can do the writing on your own. However, time spent on writing articles will be at the expense of your marketing activities.
You only have so many hours in a day, and you can’t possibly do everything on your own to make the money you want.
For this reason, content that has been written for you to use in whatever way you wish and costing you very little to buy is truly a dream come true for Internet Business owners.
EVERYBODY needs to provide content on his web sites, Blogs and newsletters. The more content he has, the more money he can make with them in various ways (this will be covered in a future post).
You may have noticed that the 1,000 Search-Engine-Optimized Private Label Articles delivered to you every single month offer in my last post on The Private Label Concept has already been snapped up by 1,000 people!
Since the operators of this web site have capped their membership at this number, for now there isn’t any more spots left!
This isn’t surprising, considering what a great offer it really was.
However, you can sign up for their Waiting List below. If anybody terminates his membership in the future (this will happen for various reasons, no matter how good the membership site is), you get a chance to get in:
Join Awesome Private Label Web Site Waiting List
In the meantime, here’s another excellent Private Label site that you may want to take a look at.
You get 400 Search-Engine-Optimized Private Label Articles each month from the operator of this web site.
While this isn’t as many as the other Private Label site, he is capping his membership at only 350 people. This means that you’ll have 3 times fewer people using the same articles compared to the first site.
He sold out Phase I of his offer and now he has 200 spots left (or less) for Phase II!
If you want in, buy a membership NOW. Don’t miss out again, because in just minutes you will have content that you can use for your web site, Blog or articles now or in the future – and you can put your own name on them if you wish:
Another Awesome Private Label Web Site
My next post will discuss the awesome business concepts that make the above sites so successful – and how you can incorporate them into your own businesses too.
Stay tuned.

Hi SenZe
Thanks for this very enlightening post. One thing about private labels. Subscribers are allowed to use the articles without fear of copyright issues, so that is OK. However, it is likely that more than 1 subscriber will be using the same article, so it means that there will be duplicate content on the web. And I understand search engines penalize duplicate content. What do you have to say about that?

Hi blogsmith,
There are really 2 camps out there.
The first camp believes that the Search Engines “penalize” content found on a web site that is an exact duplicate of another.
The second camp believes that there is no such thing.
And who better to tell you the actual situation than the Search Engines themselves?
I went to Google’s Help Center at:
http://www.google.com.my/support
and searched for “duplicate content” and the following is the result:
http://www.google.com.my/support/bin/search.py?query=duplicate+content
Click on the few listings there talking about this issue and you’ll have a fair idea of what Google’s stand is.
In short, Google is saying that it does not index duplicate content.
This would seem to be the definitive answer, since it comes from Google itself.
However, I’ve found that Google does not really follow this rule because I have seen duplicate content being listed in their Search Results time and time again.
For example, I’ve seen the very same articles written by the same author on different web sites being listed below each other when a search for the title of the article is made.
I’ve also seen the exact Killer Sales Letter for some products with Resell Rights being listed below each other when a search for a keyword found in the Killer Sales Letter is made, even though they all contain the same exact words.
Thus as far as being “penalized” for having duplicate content is concerned, I really have not seen any evidence of it if “being penalized” means not having it indexed by Google (in this example) – because they ARE indexed.
However, if “being penalized” means not being ranked higher than it should be ranked – there’s really no way of knowing whether this is the case unless you’re Google itself.
But if you’re concerned, there’s an easy way around this.
Simply make your Private Label “unique” by adding some words, or sentences or whole paragraphs in a few places to enhance the content in some way.
You can also use synonyms in place of certain words so that they convey the same meaning without using the same words, thus ensuring that it is not “duplicate content” in the literal sense of the word. There are already software on the market for this purpose.
Both approaches will take some work and time to effect which will be wasted if Google does not care too much about duplicate content in the first place.
Interestingly, if you did a search for “duplicate content penalty” in the Google Help Center, you would see NO results (as of the date of this post).
So if I were you – under the current circumstances with the current evidence, I’ll spend more of my time marketing my web sites than worry about having duplicate content.
Hope this helps.
