Update On The Life Changing Party…

Phew!

I had imagined a great night at the Life Changing Party - but everything exceeded my wildest expectations!

The red carpet setup with paparazzi and screaming fans played their roles out to the fullest, surprising many of the attendees!

The Life Changing Party Team were totally amazing in their dedication and commitment to the event. You have no idea what a first-class team they are.

I’ve just recovered from the exertion (of organizing it and hosting it), and this quick post brings you up to date prior to my putting up the photos and videos.

What’s interesting is that I had a major bout of food poisoning on Saturday - the day before the event. I had fever, and chills and visited the toilet about a dozen times throughout the entire night - leaving me totally drained out for Sunday’s morning preparations from lack of sleep and dehydration.

Not only that - I was still not well on Sunday afternoon, and I couldn’t eat the entire day as my digestive system took a battering and couldn’t settle down fast enough for my liking.

I honestly thought I would not be able to make the party I spent about 10 weeks preparing - which would be a great waste after all the time and effort.

But I eventually got better towards the evening and recovered sufficiently to be able to participate in one of the best events I’ve ever been involved in, my entire life.

Some photos to follow soon…

    Life Changing Party

The Life Changing Party now ends at 12 midnight, instead of 11pm as stated earlier.

We couldn’t fit all the things we wanted to do within the earlier time allocated.

Also the total number of people on the floor that day should be 140 or more!

Get ready for a rockin’ time…

    Haven’t got your tickets?

Get it below now - it’s only 4 days away!

  • Zi-Yang Turns Two

Here’s my son, Zi-Yang, on his 2nd birthday (today, Christmas Day 2007):
    Sen Ze and Zi-Yang
Yep, he was born on this day 2 years ago.

Yep, the good old doctor had to drag himself to the hospital for the delivery. Zi-Yang wasn’t expected that day.

Me thinks he’s the cutest kid in the world.

Me also thinks he’ll probably be the naughtiest kid in the world, who wants to stay awake for as long as possible to play, play and just play.

He loves cellphones, steering wheels and Richard Scarry’s cartoons - and can’t get enough of them.

I’m not sure, but I think he’s some kind of a whiz kid as he managed to add his own picture and some numbers to my cellphone address book, positioning himself as the No.1 contact there - when he was 12 months old.

I can’t even add any photos of my contacts to my cellphone address book on my own - and I consider myself quite savvy with gadgets - so this is quite a feat!

He has also fixed the speakers on my laptop by tapping on the keyboard at random (at least, it appeard to me to be so). I’ve tried every button, every key and every volume control there is on my hardware and the software that controls the speakers to increase their volume level for months (the volume level’s kinda soft, just barely noticeable), but to no avail.

Then I caught him typing on my keyboard one day and lo and behold - my speakers’ volume became normal and I can now listen to music and audio without having to plug in a headset!

His transition from baby to toddler is quite astonishing to watch and experience.

Like all kids, he picks up lots of stuff from TV and from watching us adults interact with each other.

However, I’m steering him clear from that ugly purple dinosaur called Barney and those silly Teletubbies characters doing brainless stuff on TV.

He should be watching more of the Little Einsteins cartoons that feature snippets of famous classical music by famous composers of the past because not only does he enjoy them, I do too as they bring back memories of my brothers playing classical music on the piano during my childhood…

    Anyway…yeah…I’m a proud father.

    He calls me “Papa”.

    LOUDLY.

You can hear him call me from a mile away.

It’s one of the most beautiful sounds I’ve ever heard.

    Merry Christmas everybody.

I’ll try to put up some photos and videos of The Life Changing Party before the new Year arrives.

    Cheers!
